1 Corinthians 3:6

Our vision at Chicago West Bible Church is to assist the family (in whatever form that takes) in the spiritual development of our children through discipleship, so that, in God’s timing, each child will come to know him and have a lifelong, personal and intimate relationship Him.

  • We boldly proclaim the truth of Scripture through the power of the Holy Spirit in an age appropriate environment.
  • We teach children, through discipleship relationships, how to apply and understand the meaning of the Scripture being taught.
  • We use different teaching methods and culturally relevant tools to engage effectively teach all different learning styles.
  • We always come back to the Gospel of Jesus. Christ is the starting and end point of the gospel and it is our mission to keep Him central.

To see children Worship, Walk, and Work for Jesus Christ, such that they become disciples passionately living for the Kingdom.

  • Worship - We want our children to worship God in spirit and in truth. It is our goal to see how wonderful and magnificent our Lord is and to worship him because of that, no matter the cost. (John 1:12, John 4:24)
  • Walk - We want our children to understand and begin to experience a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ in community with other children. (1 John 1:7)
  • Work - The Holy spirit has given every believer gifts and abilities, which are to be used in service to Christ's Kingdom. We want our children to experience the joy of serving Christ and seeing their gifts used for His glory (1 Cor. 14:12)
